This is Chawaine from Ms.O’s class and it was nice having you visit on Wednesday. You really answered many of my questions and you also gave us a few of your writing tips so that was great too. Thank you again and I cant wait to read your novel “Losing Faith” I really liked the sneak preview.

Rae-Ann, I appreciate the encouragement. It’s easy to get a bit down in the dumps when things don’t go as planned, but meeting great students like you makes all the tough days seem very far away. I will certainly keep you all posted on the fate of “Losing Faith.”

Dear Grace,
It was fun to have you visit in our classroom the last few days. I hope you enjoyed our discussions about your story and about our writing.
Yesterday was an exciting day because Tracey came to visit us at the middle school and shared her writing adventures with us. She did a great job answering all of our questions…and finishing off a few cookies and a brownie too!
You both have been a great inspiration for my students. Yes, writing is hard work, but there is nothing like the feeling you get when you are satisfied with something you have created whether it is a story, a poem, an essay, a painting, or a character on stage.

Hi Grace and Ms.Baptiste,
My name is Maria and I am a student from Ms. Orzepowski’s 7th grade class and I would like to ask you a question on the novel Angel’s Grace which I enjoyed reading a lot because of the different emotions you put in the book and the way you expressed the setting and the characters of the book. My question as follows is: Do you portray Grace in the novel or do you portray any other character like her sister, grandmother, mother, or maybe Angel’s sister? If so what do you see in them that you might see in yourself? I’m looking foward to seeing you on Wednesday.
