Me in my backyard
Hello everyone!
I’m packing a bag and heading to Trinidad this week. I’ll be visiting family and some of my favorite spots and eating some of my favorite food. But I’m mostly looking forward to finding out what Raj has been up to.
Here’s what I’m packing:
camera
shorts
t-shirts
swimsuit
flip flops
sunscreen
BUG SPRAY!!!
Am I missing anything?
Let me know if there’s anything you want to see while I’m in Trinidad. I’ll try to get a picture of it to share.

Grace’s experiences while visiting her family in Trinidad were so vivid and expressive … it made me long to see the place where MY father’s family originates from … a place I have yet to visit.
I’d love to see pictures of:
- Grace’s grandmother’s house, the house where her mom and auntie grew up
- a picture of the beach where Grace’s parents met
- a picture of the taxi stands where Grace and Raj defied the rules to avoid the long walk to travel into town
- a picture of the market-place where Grace and Raj learned of a man that actually knew Grace’s real father
- a picture of the dog that seemed to take such a liking to Grace’s auntie!

I’ll try to get pictures of those places. But as I’m not allowed to drive, or go off on my own (especially since the last time), I’m going to have to see where the family takes me.
Good suggestions, though!
